Sarah Whittle was 39 years old when she passed away on the 20th March 1886 where she had been living on Burying Lane, Pendlebury, ( later to be renamed Station Road ). Sarah was interred on the 25th March in public grave c1206 which lies just to the rear of the chapel.

Ann Pritchard was 59 years old when she died on 24th March 1886 at 153 Jane Lane, Swinton. She was laid to rest on the 27th March in C of E grave 813, her funeral service was taken by Swinton Curate R Dunn.
The family originally came from Bilston, Staffordshire and as many mining families from that area moved to Swinton and Pendlebury for work. Ann Parks married Mathew Pritchard in 1848. Ann is interred with her husband,Mathew Pritchard, son William, two grandchildren and her sister.

Elizabeth Mills was a little girl of just eight years old when she sadly passed away on the 26th March 1886 at the Industrial Schools, Swinton. She is interred in C of E Public Grave C1641 along with other children from the schools. Chaplain S.H. Parks conducted her funeral service.

John Thompson an elderly man of 88 years old passed away on 28th March 1886 and buried in Public Grave C1206 on the 1st April. Swinton Curate R. Dunn performed the funeral service. John lived at the time on Alfred Street, off Manchester Road, the houses were two up and two down terraced properties.

Mathew Grimes died on the 30th March 1886 at the family home on Jane Lane (Later to become Swinton Hall Road) and buried on the 3rd April. He is buried in Non Conformist Grave 814. Catholic Priest

Mathew was born in Pendlebury to Irish parents Mathew and Julia Grimes, sadly Julia was widowed when Mathew was a young child. He was brought up alongside several brothers and sisters.

Thomas Robinson a coal miner living on Jane Lane ( later to be renamed Swinton Hall Road). He passed away on the 4th April 1886 aged 53 and laid to rest in C of E Common Grave C1206, Reverend H. R. Heywood took the funeral service.

William Edwin Ashton
William Edwin Ashton was aged just 8 months when sadly he passed away on the 6th April 1886 at the family home on Rutland Street. He was laid to rest in a Non Conformist Grave 790. J. H. Corson Weslyan Minister provided the funeral service for the baby.
Born 21 July 1885 to parents Peter Ashton and Margaret (Gratrix) he was baptised on the 28th October 1885 at St Pauls Wesleyan Methodist Church, Station Road. Edwin is buried alongside his father and younger sister who also died as an infant.

William Quigley lived at 19 Holland Street, Swinton occupied as a Carter he was 30 years old when he passed away on the 11th April 1886. He was interred in C of E Public Grave 1205 on the 15th April. The funeral service was held by Catholic Priest C.W. Woods.

Catherine May a 22 year old cotton spinner living on Jane Lane when she passed away on the 12th April 1886, she was buried on the 17th April in C of E Public Grave 1205 the funeral service was conducted by Catholic Priest C.W. Wood.
Catherine was one of several children born to Patrick a farm labourer and Catherine May, both originated from Galway, Ireland.
